Our 11-yr-old daughter and only child was growing in emotional and physical discomfort at home withdrawing from her father and I, closing doors and staying in her room with her pet after school. For months we worried as she was not listening to us. My husband and I felt we were starting to loose her. Fortunately, we found Sandra through our church bulletin and started a 3-month youth coaching empowerment program with her. Since then, our daughter changed a lot. She started playing sports, became visibly confident with herself and with her friends, was able to move schools and began thinking about her future goals. While she acted shyly before, she 'found her voice'. She now works through her emotions, plans and future dreams with direction. She likes herself and has goals for life and is excited about living. She shows respect for us and enjoys our company as a family. She is eager about her future and enjoys new challenges. She attained advanced placement in a new, private middle school and is planning for college. We have a relationship with our daughter. And we are so thankful for who she has become.
